But first…what is a Podcast and where are they accessed?

A podcast is an audio program, similar to talk radio, that you subscribe to and can listen to on a device with internet connection- like a smartphone, tablet or computer.  Some are free, whereas others require a paid subscription to listen to them. The most popular podcast providers include Apple, Google and Spotify, where you can search for the various ones available to download or stream. Most podcasts are audio only, though some have a video component as well. Podcasts are hosted by all kinds of people ranging from laypeople who have a knack for discussion, experts in various fields, celebrities, public figures and so on. The listening possibilities are endless, if you have a certain subject you are interested in, there is most definitely a podcast about it.
