Working with patients who have diabetes is both challenging and rewarding. Being part of the Cecelia Health team, helping patients understand the “why” and “how” behind the lifestyle changes and then seeing patients’ results is priceless.
Angie Knaack

Angie Knaack is a registered nurse with a Masters of Science in Nutrition and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.  She has 6 years working in diabetes education, 14 years working in critical care at the bedside, 3 years as a clinical educator and over 1 year in weight management.  She has served in capacities as varied as working as a diabetes educator in a hospital-based diabetes program, in the field visiting different clinics as a diabetes educator with a new injectable medication, and as a registered nurse in the hospital and home health setting.

Angie's passion is to educate.  She has experience presenting education on a number of topics to patients, colleagues and physicians.  She has spoken for many community projects, support groups and in the hospital-based setting.  Her topic of choice is diabetes.  She is challenged to break down the complexities of diabetes in a way that can be easily understood.  Her goal is to meet the patient where they are at and help them comprehend with small changes, so they can reach their goals.
